I don’t like to sit on toilet seats.

Public ones specifically.

It just worries me when I think about the kinds of things I might be sitting on, that I can’t see.

So I do what a lot of OCD people do, and I squat while I pee.

But sometimes I do get lazy and I rest one of my butt cheeks on the seat, while keeping the other one lifted, and that seems to make me feel better than I do if I were to put both cheeks down.

But now that I’m really thinking about this, I realize I should really just embrace the squat…

It’s a good chance to work my quads.

Work my psoas, which, as we all know is the muscle of the soul.

It’s the muscle responsible for keeping our bodies together.

So it’s always a good idea to strengthen her up any chance you can get, because the stronger the psoas is, the stronger you will be. Not just for when you need to squat over a toilet seat, but for everything really.

The psoas is responsible for letting us flex and extend at the hips, so without it, we’d be be stuck in a forward bend, so I’m talkin’ face down ass up kind of thing.

Which wouldn’t be as fun as it might sound, because in spite of what you might think, without a strong psoas, you can’t have a good orgasm, and that would be a damn shame.

I’m sure I don’t have to tell you how important a good orgasm is when it comes to raising your frequency, and opening up your head and heart so you can be free to express your creativity.

And creativity is what keeps the human being alive and thriving.

So needless to say, the psoas needs to be taken care of more than anything.

So my advice to you is, do your plank holds on the regular.

And your wall sits too.

Work those kegel muscles and suck your belly button in and hold it for as long as possible.

And add in some reverse bridge, and some side bends, so you get the sides and the back too.

Because don’t forget, the psoas is all around you.

These are just some easy exercises we can do to help strengthen the core, which will prepare you for those times in your life when you need to feel strong and secure, and of course, protect yourself from the germs found on public toilet seats, because you’ll be able to squat while you pee.

Peace.
